Pack 611 Code of Conduct

Scouts:

• Be on time.
• Wear your uniform with pride.
• Listen and pay attention to each other.
• Take turns speaking.
• Be respectful.
• Follow Akela.
• Always do your best.
• Make good choices.
• Be safe and responsible.
• Keep hands and feet to yourself.
• Work together.
• Have fun!

 

 Parents: 

• Be on time.
• Assist your son(s) with projects, and completing achievements.
• Support Den Leaders.
• Act as a role model.
• Ensure non-Scouting youth are being respectful, and not distracting Scouts.
• Tobacco, drugs and alcohol are all prohibited at Scout functions.
• Help to ensure that “Two-deep Leadership” is maintained at all times.

 

 Leaders:  

• Be on time.
• Wear uniform with pride to all Scouting events.
• Be the example.
• Treat all Scouts as individuals with unique personalities and needs.
• Always use proper language and tone of voice.
• Be clear and consistent with expectations and follow through as appropriate.
• Be positive.
• Ensure the safety of all Scouts – physically and emotionally.
• Follow BSA rules for correcting unacceptable Scout behavior.
• Respect and support each other.
• Ensure that information is communicated in a timely manner with leadership, Scouts and parents.
• Do not volunteer or take on more than you can do well. Ask for help when needed.
• Ensure “Two-deep” leadership is maintained at all times.
