Boy Scouting is for boys ages 11 to 17. Camping, fun with friends and more, It’s the adventure of a lifetime. Troop 48 is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, the Sir William Johnson District, the Twin Rivers Council.  We are chartered by St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Amsterdam, New York.  We meet each Monday night from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  

We are an active troop focused on:

  • Character Development
  • Citizenship Training
  • Mental and Physical Fitness

The activities of the troop are designed to be instructive, challenging, and fun. They fall into three main areas:

  • Weekly Troop Meetings with Patrol and Merit Badge activities
  • Several weekend camping trips
  • Annual Summer Camp
